At Berkman, we’re constantly on the move. We’ve set ambitious goals and assembled a talented team that works toward them every day. Yet, for some time, we faced a persistent issue: the daily operation was consuming too much of our time and focus. Our teams spent a large portion of their working hours on repetitive, administrative tasks—important, yes, but ones that kept us from creating and executing strategic initiatives.
Operational overload
We noticed that our people were increasingly tied up in simply keeping the organization running, which - especially during peak periods - proved to be a major challenge. Work pressure rose, costs increased, and performance lagged behind. Meanwhile, the labor market shifted: finding qualified staff became more difficult.
These problems will sound familiar to many companies - not only in our sector. But it’s exactly these challenges that drove us to rethink how we work.
The strategic power of outsourcing – our experience
