Tiltak started as a modest export company but has grown into a dynamic business with multiple successful webshops, including Angeljuicers.eu, Slowjuice.nl, Spinwood.nl, and Traphekjes.nl. It's an inspiring company we've proudly partnered with for years. Danitsja Mulder, a team member at Tiltak, shares her experience: "Having one point of contact and an easy-to-use portal has been a game-changer for us."

In 2009, Tiltak-owner Bram launched the webshop Slowjuice.nl together with his parents, breaking into the Dutch market for slow juicers. His brother Gijs joined later, and together they expanded the business by creating their own brands and building a robust import structure. Sourcing products from outside Europe, they now serve both individual customers and businesses. While exports, such as shipments to the Caribbean, remain a small part of the operation, the company's focus is now primarily on European sales.

Tiltak imports a diverse range of products, including slow juicers, foldable picnic tables, and stair gates, primarily from Asia. “Some of our products follow a fixed schedule,” Danitsja explains. “For example, we import accessories by the pallet once or twice a year. For other items where we act as the importer, we receive up to six 40ft containers annually for each brand.”

She continues: “We also handle smaller, less frequent shipments—sometimes just once a year, ranging from full containers to individual pallets. Whatever the volume or frequency, Berkman is always there to support us. Their extensive network in Asia is a huge advantage. For example, our supplier in South Korea works directly with Berkman, so we don’t have to coordinate container readiness—they handle it all. The portal keeps us updated on shipment status and arrival dates, providing both flexibility and transparency.”

Since we’re often not in a rush to get our goods to the Netherlands, we usually opt for Route B to save costs. But when timing is critical, we can switch to the faster route. That level of flexibility has been key to our success.”
