On June 24 and 25, the Netherlands will host the 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague. During this event, our country will welcome world leaders, ministers, and thousands of delegates. To ensure their safe and uninterrupted travel between Schiphol Airport and The Hague, extensive security measures will be in place. These may impact road traffic and potentially affect your logistics planning.
Between Sunday, June 22 and Friday, June 27, the following situations may occur:
- Temporary road closures in and around The Hague;
- Security zones with limited or no access;
- Increased traffic congestion in other regions due to diversions.
These circumstances may affect the loading and delivery of shipments. Naturally, we are doing everything we can to minimize disruptions and will keep you proactively informed.
We recommend factoring in potential delays in your planning and, where possible, scheduling ahead. If you are unsure how this event may impact your supply chain, please don’t hesitate to contact us—we’re here to advise and support you.
