Making a Difference Together: Introducing Our New Colleagues

In December, Berkman Forwarding welcomed five new colleagues. Each brings their own experience and personality, but they all share one thing: the ambition to make logistics better, more efficient, and more sustainable. Time to get acquainted!

Joesanha (27) from Rotterdam is stepping into the logistics world for the first time, but her commercial background gives her a flying start in Inside Sales. “I look forward to developing myself further and making a positive contribution,” she says. Lincy (32), a freight forwarder in the import department, already knows the logistics sector well and values the personal touch at Berkman. “The first conversation matched my experience and view of the profession perfectly. It immediately felt like a valuable introduction,” she shares.

Evelien (40), who strengthens the export department, combines strong organizational skills with years of industry experience. “I love coordinating the entire export process from A to Z and using my knowledge to deliver a customer-focused approach,” she explains. Kelly (31) brings several years of customs expertise to the team as a declarant. She aims to make processes understandable for everyone involved: “It’s about ensuring people are truly included in the story.”

Bertus (47), senior freight forwarder in the import department, adds decades of experience to the team. “Sharing my knowledge and helping others grow in the profession is what I enjoy most,” he says. Together, these five form a team that perfectly blends experience with fresh energy.

With their diverse backgrounds and shared ambition, the new colleagues show that logistics is about more than just processes. It’s about people who want to make a difference and at Berkman Forwarding, they do so with expertise, enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective.
