Nieuwe cao voor transportsector per 1 januari 2026

Employers' organisations and the trade unions FNV and CNV have reached an agreement: as of January 1, 2026 a new collective labour agreement (CLA) will apply to the Road Freight Transport and the Rental of Mobile Cranes sector. This CLA will run until December 31, 2026 and covers approximately 165.000 employees in the transport sector, including drivers, planners, and logistics staff. Employees will receive a 4% wage increase, slightly less than what the unions FNV and CNV initially demanded. The allowance for accommodation expenses will also increase by up to 4%.

In addition to financial arrangements, the CLA includes measures to improve compliance. Employers will be required to accurately record the start and end times of trips. Drivers will henceforth receive an explanation for any corrections made to their time records. This step is intended to promote greater transparency and fair compensation within the sector.
