On Friday, April 11, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Ngo Huong Nam, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to our headquarters in Barendrecht.
Vietnam has been a significant business partner for us for many years. We opened our own office in Ho Chi Minh over 30 years ago and recently expanded by opening a branch office in the capital city, Hanoi. On top of that, we have been a member of the DBAV (Dutch Business Association Vietnam) since it’s foundation 25 years ago.
Friday’s visit was, therefore, an acknowledgment of the longstanding relationship between Vietnam and Berkman. The ambassador himself is highly adept in the field of international trade and actively visits companies that hold a special interest in Vietnam, especially given that the Netherlands has been Vietnam’s largest trading partner within the EU for some time now.
In addition to the visit, the ambassador was given a comprehensive tour of our headquarters in Barendrecht, and we concluded the day with a “typical Barendrecht lunch.”
We look back with pride on a successful day and extend our sincere thanks to the ambassador for his visit and interest in our family business!
